If there’s one place where the menu reads like a love letter to comfort food with Portuguese flair, it’s Antonio’s Restaurant. From the very first bite, the experience is warm, hearty, and unforgettably satisfying.
I kicked things off with their golden Deep Fried Chicken Wings—crispy perfection with just the right kick. The Stuffed Quahogs were a bold, savory delight, while the Cod Fish Cakes reminded me of coastal village flavors. I couldn’t resist the Shrimp and Meat Croquettes, each bite creamy and seasoned to impress.
The soups were soul-hugging: the Kale Soup was rich and earthy, and the N.E. Clam Chowder was creamy with briny depth. A crisp Caesar Salad brought a fresh contrast.
When it came to chicken, Antonio’s nailed it. The Chicken Diane was buttery and fragrant, while the Sauteed Chicken & Mushrooms felt like elevated home cooking. For something smoky, the Grilled Chicken Skewer hit the spot, and the Chicken Breast with Shrimp was a surf-and-turf dream.
The sandwiches are generously packed—I especially loved the bold flavor of the Cacoila Sandwich and the savory-sweet balance of the Chicken Antonio’s Sandwich.
On the meat front, the Steak Chef’s Choice was juicy and perfectly seared, while the Pork Alentejana blended pork and clams in a garlicky sauce that stole the show. Seafood fans will swoon for the Broiled Seafood platter and the crispy Fried Scallops.
Even their lunch portions feel like a feast. And don’t skip the sides—those Cubed Fries are dangerously addictive.
For dessert, the Tiramisu and Flan Custard were standouts—smooth, sweet, and indulgent.
Antonio’s doesn’t just serve food—they serve tradition, comfort, and a touch of home. Each dish tells a story, and every bite invites you back for more.
